Printed documents come in a range of sizes and shapes and should last for lengthier periods. This service, called “permanent print”, covers print materials with a medium to long–term shelf–life. A project of this type might cover the layout, typography and imagery for a book publication, manual, guidelines, company standards pack or annual catalogue.

Permanent print documents tend to be larger than other ephemeral papers and documents. They usually require consideration of typography and layout more than branding (although this depends on the type of publication).

Our permanent print service considers your target audience and your manuscript to provide a comprehensive layout and design. Our completed design will be legible, understandable and identifiable.

Large–sized manuscripts can cover many different fields and require various considerations depending on their printed anatomy. We will get to know your manuscript and design a layout to suit its use of text, images, charts and graphs, quotes and sidebars. We will consider the best use of arrangement and typography for legibility and attractiveness.

Throughout the design process, we prepare your manuscript for print. We discuss print specifications with your printer and ensure that the design meets those specifications. That is often a big part of the process, and we have worked successfully with many printers to produce high–quality publications for clients. If you don’t have a preferred printer already, we can find and cost a print job and take care of these details, as necessary.

Branding strategy

In each service listed under the Print category, you will find brand and identity repeatedly. A brand is like the personality and signature of a business, shining through everything it says online and in print. So, why do so many companies neglect their brand by not developing a brand strategy?

Business stationery

Business stationery is a subtle and highly effective method of marketing your business. It is easy to overlook the impact of professionally designed business cards, compliment slips, letterheads, invoices, dispatch notes and receipts when aligned to a brand strategy.

Marketing materials

Marketing materials cover a massive range of printed matter used to advertise and market your business to customers and clients. Marketing materials cover anything from leaflets and flyers to promotional products (yes, including fridge magnets and keyrings), signs and posters to cards, clothing, bags and van livery.
